When the college closes for extended periods, Brookwood Apartments closes too. Students must vacate the building according to the schedule below.

 Thanksgiving Break

Students must vacate by 12 noon Tuesday before Thanksgiving and may return that Sunday at 12 noon.

 Winter Break

Students must vacate by 12 noon the day after the student's last final and may return at 12 noon the day before Spring classes begin

 Spring Break

Students must vacate by 6pm on that Friday and may return at 12 noon on the second Sunday

 End of Academic Year

Students must vacate by 12 noon the day after the student's last final

Special Instructions for Leaving at the End of the Academic Year.

When leaving for extended periods of time...

...  it is extremely important to clean your apartment well and take out the trash. Do not leave any perishables in your apartment. This includes, but is not limited to:

•  milk
• bread
• cheese
• leftovers
• fruit
• lunch meat
• any refrigerated items that will spoil if left for a month or more

You may leave things like mustard and ketchup as well as eggs in the refrigerator.

You may leave canned goods and sealed boxes of cereal and crackers, etc.

You may leave frozen foods.

Apartments will be checked by management over extended breaks. Any apartment that requires cleaning or removal of perishable items will be charged a cleaning fee.
